About Me

 My Story

Hi, I’m Lena Santangeli, founder of Caring Sleep Solutions (my official name is Olena, but I go by Lena). I specialize in helping babies, children, and adults improve their sleep.

My journey into sleep science began with 12 years of study and research in Finland, deeply exploring how sleep works and its impact on our health.

However, it was my own experience of becoming a mother that truly opened my eyes to the challenges of sleep deprivation. Struggling to enjoy motherhood and feeling constantly tired was tough, but seeking the help of a sleep consultant was a turning point for my family and me.

It was such a positive change that it inspired me to pursue a career in sleep consultancy.

In my work, I follow gentle and understanding sleep coaching methods. I firmly believe in the power of empathy and will never suggest you ignore your child’s needs. My approach is customized for each family, taking into account the unique personality of your child and what your family feels comfortable with.

Whether you’re facing challenges with getting your child to bed, night waking, early rising, or you are struggling with sleep yourself, I’m here to support you. Let’s work together to find a sleep solution that brings more restful nights and happier days to you and your family.

During my PhD (the thesis book can be found here), I focused on the deep connection between a mother and her baby and how this relationship impacts our brain development, behavior, and sleep patterns as we grow. My research included both preclinical and clinical studies, focusing on sleep patterns and depression across different ages.

My Approach

My approach is far from one-size-fits-all; it thrives on experimentation and the use of scientifically validated methods.

As a neuroscientist, I tap into the fascinating mechanisms of behavior and habit formation, crafting lasting changes in your life.

My goal is to find what uniquely works for each individual, whether you’re seeking better sleep and sharper focus for yourself or nurturing the developing brain and sleep patterns of your child.

When it comes to your child, I offer personalized plans and dedicated support, utilizing a combination of approaches tailored to the needs of your family and little one. My aim is to nurture a strong bond while teaching your baby to sleep.

My Framework

My approach to sleep consulting is all about finding what works best for you and your family. I use proven methods based on science to help you improve sleep and build healthy habits. Whether you need better sleep for yourself or want to help your child, I’m here to provide personalized support and guidance every step of the way.
