About Me
Professional Sleep Consultant
PhD (Medicine), Pediatric Sleep Consultant & Adult Sleep Coach, Award-Winning Sleep Specialist
Hi, I’m Lena (short from Olena),
As a Sleep Consultant and Neuroscientist, I’m on a mission to transform the narrative around sleep for both babies and adults, especially during the challenging early years of parenting.
My purpose is to bring restful sleep to families and change the narrative around postpartum sleep deprivation. Every mama should have the energy, love, and happiness to share with her children, free from the toll that sleep deprivation takes on mental health. I advocate for this through science-backed methods and compassionate support.
For babies and toddlers, I use gentle, and responsive techniques that prioritize their emotional well-being. I believe in helping little ones sleep better without leaving them to cry it out, always ensuring that parents can respond to their needs while building healthy sleep habits.
For adults, I focus on coaching them to make small yet meaningful changes in their daily lives, including building brain-healthy habits. I believe sleep is not only essential for rest, but also for improving cognitive performance, sharper focus, and overall better mood.
My Approach
My approach is holistic and empathetic, blending neuroscience with understanding of sleep’s impact on overall health. I prioritize personalized methods to address each person’s unique needs.
When it comes to baby and toddler sleep, my approach is gentle and nurturing your bond with them.
My Process
I start by looking closely at how you or your baby sleep, identifying key problems and areas for improvement. Then, I create a personalized plan just for you.
For babies, I use gentle sleep approaches to help them sleep better, and for adults, I consider everything from what you eat to how active you are. I’ll be there to support you along the way, making sure you all get the rest you need.
My Framework
My framework is built on a deep understanding of sleep and habit formation. When it comes to adult sleep coaching, I emphasize a comprehensive approach to addressing sleep issues, integrating nutrition, exercise, and mental health considerations.
For baby sleep coaching, I consider family dynamics and the emotional attachment between you and your baby.
My partner and I recently used the services of Lena Santangeli for sleeping consultancy for our 8 months baby boy and we are absolutely thrilled with the results! My toddler was struggling with frequent night wakings and irregular nap times, which was exhausting for our entire family, plus he was in a fuzzy mood. From the first consultation, Lena was, calm, attentive, understanding, and incredibly knowledgeable. She provided a personalized sleep plan tailored to our child’s specific needs and temperament.
Within a few weeks, our baby was sleeping through the night and had a consistent nap schedule.
The improvement in our baby mood and our overall family well-being has been fantastic. I highly recommend Lena to any parent struggling with their kid sleeping issues. We are super grateful.
Life-changing! Before meeting Olena, our daughter wouldn’t sleep in her cot all night; she would only sleep half the night there and then be brought to our bed.
After two weeks, our daughter goes to sleep happily on her own now in her crib, in her own room, and sleeps through the night. The daytime routine has become much more predictable, and there is no guessing anymore around nap times.
I cannot recommend Olena enough! She really guided us every step of the way. Her support was invaluable, and we couldn’t have done this without her.
